The Mont de la Paix, in Montapas, in the Nièvre, near the Morvan and the Nivernais Canal. Designed for active and international city dwellers looking for a nature escape 2 and a half hours from Paris or Lyon during a (long) weekend or short vacation, you are welcome to Mont de la Paix where you will quickly feel like at home in a relaxed atmosphere in a very old village house completely renovated. After a visit to the sports hall and a very hearty breakfast where I would prepare everything you want, you can practice a large number of different outdoor sports: swimming pool, mountain biking, hiking, water sports on the surrounding lakes and rivers all year round. Cultural activities, small festivals, local festivals or flea markets during weekends are usually legion around Montapas especially in season. In view of the French health situation, some cancellations have been recorded and I will update the situation regularly.The Morvan National Park, its protected nature and its lakes or the Nivernais canal are a few kilometers from Montapas as well as some high places of the pilgrimage to St Jacques de Compostelle like Vezelay or St Révérien. On your return to Mont de la Paix, at the end of the day, the hammam to relax or the library, comics, DVDs and board games await you in the lounges of the house. Internet via 4G and Wifi are available throughout the house. Closed garage for Motorcycles and Bicycles.
